Bordeaux River Cruise and La Cité du Vin offer a “Croisière et Cité du Vin” Pass.
This pass gives access to the permanent La Cité du vin experience, a cultural, sensory and fun space on wine and civilisations. This interactive trip with an audio guide which reaches its peak at 35 metres, offers a 360° view over Bordeaux and its river. A world wine tasting session is offered at the end of the experience, on the panoramic viewpoint on the 8th and last floor of La Cité.
To complete this visit, Bordeaux River Cruise suggest you discover Bordeaux via the course of the river, with a glass in your hand.
On the programme, boarding the boat on the pontoon of La Cité du Vin, 1 hour 30 minutes sailing along the 18th century façades of the Port de la Lune, a UNESCO world heritage site and the sampling of 2 wines, all run by a guide speaker.
During this river trip the guide tells stories and unveils a passionate history in which the river and the wine trade are closely linked.
Every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 2017 to October 2017.
The river cruise company “Bordeaux River Cruise”, also has a local events and tour operator for organising journeys and “bespoke” trips.
