After La Co(O)rniche, the cult establishment of the Arachon basin, Willian and Sophie Techoueyres have modernised another legendary hotel from Pyla, with the help of the famous designer Philippe Starck, who had already worked on La Co(O)rniche.

Located a stone’s throw from the beach, between the pine forest and the ocean, the famous hotel from the 30s, which has preserved its superb Neo-Basque façade, offers thirty rooms, five suites, two junior suites and a 120m2 apartment, with sophisticated décor and a light style.

The Ha(A)ïtza 2016 version has a superb covered pool with a glass roof which opens when the weather is fine, a gourmet restaurant managed by the Michelin starred chef Stéphane Carrade (former brasserie of the Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux), a cocktail bar, a cafe, a REN spa, a chic hair salon, a fitness room and a patisserie where the young talent Anthony Prunet does the honours.

The lobby has both an art gallery and a comprehensive store concept. Everything has been brought together to make Ha(A)ïtza (rock in Basque) “the place to be”.
