The Slow Village campsite opened in April 2017, a completely new concept, with both a “holiday village” and luxury campsite (three star comfort) approach and a particular focus on holidays respectful of the environment.
The establishment is located on the edge of the lake of Bicarrosse, in a 10 hectare pine forest, which can accommodate up to 120 holidaymakers at the same time while keeping a calm atmosphere. An easy to access beach means you can make the most of the fresh water lake in which swimming and water sport games can be practised in the peace and quiet. The natural atmosphere combines with trendy activities (stand up paddle boarding, etc.), the establishment ever conscious of keeping a “slow lifestyle”.
The lets look like Landes resin worker cabins, small black timber cabins very typical of the region, equipped with a fishermen hut style interior décor. These structures can house 4 to 8 people.
– 35 cabins furnished with kitchenettes.
– 35 cabins unfurnished (refrigerator only).
– 30 fully furnished mobile homes.
For bookings, two deals are on offer: simple lets and the half or full board hotel deal.
The campsite is open from 15th April to 5th November 2017.
An idea of the price? For a weekend in a four person cabin, allow for between 150 to 250 Euros.
